FAQ

1. What is Shesseen?

A sustainable lifestyle hub for all things fashion, Shesseen is a curated vintage and pre-loved luxury designer reseller and consignment boutique based in Malaysia. However, we are not limited to curated vintage. From Margiela to The Row and Issey Miyake, we also feature new arrivals and limited-edition finds. Whether it's archival Celine or the avant-garde spirit of Antwerp and Japan's cult designers, we curate fashion that transcends trends and deserves to be worn, not forgotten.

2. How do I shop with Shesseen?

You can browse and purchase directly through our website. We currently offer in-store pickup for all orders, with shipping and delivery options coming soon. We also have a physical store, which we encourage you to visit, as it features a more extensive collection.

3. Are your items authentic?

Yes. Every piece is personally sourced and verified by our team. Where available, original receipts, dust bags, boxes, and tags are included and noted in the product listing. Select items, particularly designer bags, are also authenticated through Entrupy, a third-party authentication service, as an additional layer of verification.

4. What designers do you carry?

We carry a wide range of luxury and contemporary labels including Celine, Phoebe Philo, Maison Margiela, The Row, and many more. View our full list on the Accepted Designers page.

5. Can I consign my pieces with Shesseen?

Yes! Visit our Concierge page to learn more about consigning with us.

6. What is your return policy?

All sales are final. Approved returns are issued as store credit within 7 business days.

7. Are all your items pre-loved?

No. Our collection includes vintage, pre-loved, and brand new with tags pieces. As part of our sustainability philosophy, every item we carry is intended for a second life, whether that's a piece that's truly pre-loved or one that never got worn due to sizing issues and deserves a second chance with someone it fits. While we curate as much vintage and pre-loved (in impeccable condition) as we can, we also carry brand new items with original tags and packaging.

8. How often is your inventory updated? / When do new pieces drop?

We update our inventory roughly once a week. As we grow our consignor base, new pieces sometimes come in daily — though not everything makes it online right away. New arrivals are first available offline at our physical store in APW before they're listed on the website. The fastest way to catch new pieces is by following us on Instagram, where we post updates as soon as they're in.

9. How long is the sourcing concierge process?

It depends on the item. Some pieces are easier to find than others, and your budget plays a role too — if you'd like us to stay within a specific price range, sourcing can take anywhere from 1 to 3 months. For rare or niche pieces, it can take up to a few years, as building a wardrobe that's both functional and distinctive takes time.

10. What is the pricing model for the sourcing concierge process?

We typically charge 10% of your total budget as our sourcing fee. However, your budget is always our starting point and we're committed to staying within it and finding you pieces that deliver exceptional value without compromising on quality.

11. What is the pricing model for the consignment service?

We aim to be the most affordable consignment service in the market. Our philosophy is to encourage and educate on the value of letting go of pieces that no longer serve you. Our consignment fee starts at 10%, with the exact rate depending on the volume and total value of items consigned.

12. How long does the consignment process take?

We respond within 48 hours of receiving your item for review. If accepted, we'll provide a suggested price unless you already have one in mind. As for how long it takes to sell — there's no fixed timeline. Some items sell within 24 hours, others take up to 3 months. If an item hasn't sold within 3 months, we'll reach out to discuss a price reduction or other strategies to help push the sale.
